Our Background
We introduced the use of trained detection canines to schools in Texas over
twenty-five years ago. The Horton case of the early 1980's set the modern day
parameters for the use of dogs in schools. We were a key element in that case
and developed future policies and procedures to insure that our program was
both effective and within accepted legal guidelines. Although a number of
other cases occurred in the ensuing years, the courts have upheld our policies
and procedures.
We are licensed by the U. S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Bureau, and state regulatory agencies as
required.
Over 60% of our school clients use Title IV Safe and Drug Free school funds to
support their canine program.
Our Location
Our company-owned headquarters are located on the northwest side of Houston. We
conduct canine training, maintenance training and provide on-going support for
our nationwide locations.
